Vintage 2012 in Paso Robles saw a good and steady growing season. It was the first year of a series of dry seasons and yielded small berries and concentrated fruit flavors and tannins, producing extremely well balanced wines. Known as an overall excellent vintage for the entire Paso Robles area. The Cabernet block is planted on clay loam soils, on the Crossland Estate’s hillside.
Picked in 2 parcels selected from the prized French Clones 15 and 337, favorites of the prestigious Bordeaux Châteaux. Aged in medium and dark toasted French and American barrels.
